Holiday Mania Part 1: 4.0 Update Part 1: The Hidden Realm

The glorious 4.0 Update is here! When you come in, the first thing you notice is that Dreamstate and Hidden Realm funkeys are walking around Funkeystown. Go near the Library and the beginning storyline pops up... Mayor Sayso is acting a bit strange. The biggest surprise ever to me was that ANY funkey can go to the Hidden Realm. That's because of what's there. More on that in a bit...

The "Guide"s name is Kane. The Villain's name is Kane. Yep. The guide is the Villain too. Here's what it looks like when you come in...

The Hidden Realm was formerly called "The Perilous Verge", home only to a new tribe of funkeys called The Oni...

...Anyway, the Oni King's name is Sidd. That guy with the sword is Kane. Now then, back to the story. During the great Funkey Wars of the Funkazoic Era, The Perilous Verge was in conflict on all sides. The Oni were working desperately to drive off the advancing horde of the army of the evil King Kahn. Seeing no other choice, King Sidd had all the paths leading to the Perilous Verge destroyed, and had Kane unleash the Gauzian Blur, which obscures and confuses, to further sheild them. As King Sidd would come to find, the other funkeys united under King Funkenkahmun and defeated King Kahn. With the Perilous Verge shrouded in the Gauzian Blur, and no contact from the Oni, King Funkenkahmun believed that the Perilous Verge and the Oni had been lost to the advancing hordes... The Perilous Verge had become a Hidden Realm. Likewise, with no contact from the other funkeys, news of the wars end never reached the Oni. So, they had built the Oni Dojo in order to train their warriors in preperation for a battle they thought would some day come.

As the years passed with no contact from the outside world, King Sidd began to wonder if there was something more to the funkey exsistance. So he climbed to the highest point of the Hidden Realm, sat under a Bohdi tree, built a telescope, and took a look around.

He returned to the Oni Dojo a changed funkey. He had seen all the funkeys living in harmony... And he realized that nothing mattered if you didn't share it with others. But, as he says, "Enlightenment cannot just be given, it must be earned. You cannot become, if you simply say what you would've done." To achieve this, he built the Enlightening Gates (More on those after the story), sent his Airship to Funkeystown, put Kane in charge, and closed the gates.

To open the Enlightening Gates you need to stand on each plate in front of it, each as a different funkey. At the end of the path you will find King Sidd and his Telescope. You can use the Telescope to see into any zone except the Hidden Realm and Angus Manor (More on Angus Manor in Holiday Mania Part 3.)

On the way through the Enlightening Gates there are some neat activities and three different games- And one is Multiplayer! Here are some of the neat activities:

And the best thing for Mayor Sayso owners who don't have Dot- Mayor Sayso can now enter the Dot Spot and shop there! :D

And so concludes Holiday Mania Part 1, which took two sessions to write. -_-' Whew!

MLN- New things

MLN was updated a few days ago. They added two new Networkers, two new Module Blueprints (Nobody knows why the modules aren't in the module guide or where to get the blueprints), and two new Stickers. Pics:

And the two new Stickers, which you obviously get from the upcoming Concert Games:

Cheatcode and Extralife's only known purposes are to trade for Arcade Tokens, which you can alo get from the Rocket Game. I think you will need them to play the Concert Games.

My Lego Network

Funkeys, Penguins, fellow Networkers, lend me your ears! A new game to the news list is here! My Lego Network was introduced in 2007 as a Beta Test- Sadly, I couldn't get in because too many people were testing. :( I did join the first day it was open to non-testers though, which was Janurary 9th, 2008. In this game, your ultimate goal is to build a Rocket Game that people can play on your page. So far, only a few people have acomplished this task. In order to get the Rocket Game, you need to build all 10 Masterpieces. In order to build the Masterpieces, you need to build items and modules and get blueprints. My MLN motto is "Everything comes from the Red Brick" because that's all you're given to start, plus some blueprints and a module that grows more Red Bricks. Getting to Rank 1 is all about Apples... And can take as little as 30 seconds. Rank 2 is about Bees and Flowers. Rank 3 is Mills and Giants. Rank 4 is Cars and Racing. Rank 5 is Dinos, Dinos, Dinos. Rank 6 is Construction. Rank 7 is Music and Secret Agents. Rank 8 is Indians. Rank 9 is Knights, Battles, and War. Rank 10 is Space travel. Once you're done with that, you build the Rocket Game. My first Multiplayer

WOOT! I got VR Sprocket & VR Fallout! And guess what I found out while challenging someone who had their Sprocket in the hub? If you both play with Sprocket in the hub, you both get a 20 coin bonus! Coosome.

I wanted to post screenshots of the CP game but the servers are so overloaded I'm having trouble logging in. I'll tell you this- I did get in last night, but I forgot about taking screenshots. I played for a long time, and got my Blue Belt. Here are the Ranks.

Ninja Party!

Apparently November's party is the Ninja Party. Smallest one ever if you ask me. Confined to two rooms and only lasting 3 days. The Dojo Courtyard (It's official name) is almost fully shoveled out, and the hole in the Dojo roof is fixed. You now enter the Dojo through the doors. Now when you go to the Dojo door you go outside. Woot! When in the Dojo Courtyard if you waddle to the bottom the map will come up.



The Dojo inside is COMPLETELY different. Woah! Nice tapestry. Seems the Ninjas are obsessed with "The Triangle of Power" or Fire, Water, and Snow.



The Gong show comes every 5 minutes. Be sure to pelt it with snowballs when it does come out!

Looks like to fully become Ninjas we will need to buy CP Cards. It says in-game that they give you some in-game cards to start.

Quests, Gems, Passwords, and Coins..........

WOAH DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AN EIGHTH GEM?!? TOTALLY UNEXPECTED, MAN!

Ahem... I mean, wow! Unexpectedly, an Eighth Gem has been discovered. And guess what? You get it through a quest. Which quest hasn't been solved yet? (In your head: Hmm... Not Waggs, Xener, Glub, Nibble, Sporcket or Berger quests... That only leaves... *Gasp* STITCH QUEST!!!) You: Stitch Quest?

Me: Sorta. If you wanna be technical, it's Stitch/Rom/Fallout/Mayor Sayso quest, but yes.

You: Wha...?

Me: After you give Stitch the password, he tells you to go visit his Rom friend. Then you have to collect these things to give to his Fallout friend. He says to take something to Mayor Sayso (Who will be behind the waterfall, I might add), whom tells you to escort him to Ufunk Studios. He then rewards you with 10,000 coins and the White Cresent Moon Gem. I say it's to make up for the Speed Racer series.

You: Ok, how the heck did you find out Stitch's password?!?

Me: I won't say any names, but let's just say someone famous told me. *Wink*

You: WHAT IS IT?!?

Me: Ha-ha! I'm glad you asked! I am going to have a contest to find out who gets to know it (Don't worry, there will be multiple winners.) The contest will test your noticing skills, and you must have a keen eye to win.

You: What happens to the losers?

Me: After a few days I will make three posts that you will have to decode, after which you will have the password, but to the winners I will tell the password right away.

You: Wait, if you can tell the winners, won't it be able to be seen by everyone?

Me: My simplest answer: No.

So. The Dojo is half-way dug out. Guess what- We can start training to be Ninjas Monday. I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem... Sorry about that. It is very interesting to see what the outside of the Dojo is like... More fancy than the inside. Looks like the Mystery Shoveler is making progress too. Coosome.

Update on Mystery Shoveler story.

The Club Penguin Times wrote an article about the Dojo's damage. In the picture, you can see the Mystery Shoveler (I'm calling him that now) standing in the Dojo Gateway. Now we have a different view of him. Here are the theories on who he is-

This is too cool... I found a penguin in CP called Twinx1996. I wonder if I'll ever see a 'Ptep'? Hehe...

Seems the Dojo got dammaged by the lightening from Haloween, so grab a construction hat and...



...Go outside! That's right, for the first time you can go outside the Dojo... And who's that guy shoveling over there?



The answer: We don't know yet. We think he's either a Ninja or the guy who built the Dojo.
